PHOTO OF THE DAY #5: "Three kids and a swimming pool."

Here’s my son together with his cousins from Australia: Danna and Nathan. It’s been years since they last saw each other. Nathan wasn’t even born yet when they left for Australia. For one afternoon, they spent a few minutes together swimming in our place. They won’t be seeing each other for the next five years. By then, they’ll be budding teenagers.

Who knows? Maybe I’ll take the same picture when they get together in a few years from now.

The distance may grow them apart. But this picture will always bring them together.

PHOTO OF THE DAY #4:"Log Jam"

This picture is really worth a thousand words. It’s our first time as a family to ride the LOG JAM at ENCHANTED KINGDOM. Rafa was tall enough for the ride and I was excited for him. He was so brave and didn’t show any fear in taking this ride head on. Though his face looked like he was scared out of his pants, he enjoyed the thrill of his stomach turning inside-out. As for me and Aida, we loved every second of that 5 second plunge.

PHOTO OF THE DAY#3:"Happy Faces"

Here’s Rafa with his classmates. Just take a look at those faces. The joy of a child – priceless. But are the kids the only ones who can have joy?

Joy is not biased to race, color, age or gender. Joy can be experienced by everyone. For me, I receive joy daily because of my relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the source of my joy. And he keeps me smiling even though things aren’t going well.

And, of course, I still keep myself a child at heart. I guess that’s the secret why I love life so much.

Until then.

PHOTO OF THE DAY#2:"One Way"

This is a traffic sign that I took with my mobile phone near the my son’s school.

We see this sign often. It means to go in one direction. If we oppose this, we will get hurt or find ourselves in a terrible head-on collision accident.

Living a Christian life means that we should go ONE WAY – the way of Christ. It may be hard sometimes. But what we are sure of is that we are going to the right direction. Because if we go against God’s way, we get hurt or become a victim of a head-on collision.

Let us go ONE WAY with Jesus.

PHOTO OF THE DAY#1:"McDonalds"

I’d like to start something different this time. I’ll be posting some “PHOTOS OF THE DAY” just to chronicle something important, intriguing or just plain funny for the day.

For the first one, it’s me and my son Rafael. We intended to go to GREENWICH pizza for the P99 EAT ALL YOU CAN PIZZA. But they ran out of pizza crust (How can you run out of pizza crust for an “eat all you can” promo?). So we walked (and did we walked) a long way just to get to McDonald’s and eat.

Well, sometimes, you just don’t get want you want.
